Your plan activates automatically the first time your phone connects to a local network at your destination. There is nothing to switch on manually — just turn off aeroplane mode on arrival.
Yes. Vyroam eSIMs are data-only — your primary SIM and phone number stay completely active for calls, SMS, and WhatsApp. You use the Vyroam eSIM for data and your regular SIM for everything else.
Most iPhones from XS onwards and many modern Android devices (Samsung Galaxy S21+, Google Pixel 3+) support eSIM. Check Settings → Mobile Data on iPhone or Settings → Connections → SIM Manager on Android and look for an Add eSIM option.
