These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vyroam service, including the purchase and use of travel eSIM plans. Vyroam is operated by Nordevia AS, a company registered in Norway ("Vyroam", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Service Description

Vyroam provides digital travel eSIM plans that allow you to access mobile data while travelling. Plans are delivered electronically at the time of purchase and are activated on your eSIM-compatible device by scanning a QR code.

Unless otherwise stated on the plan detail page, all Vyroam plans are data-only services. Voice calling and SMS may not be included. Vyroam delivers eSIM connectivity through third-party eSIM provisioning providers and local mobile network operators in each destination country.

Plans are available for individual countries and multi-country regions. Coverage details and supported destinations are listed on our website and may change over time.

2. Eligibility

To purchase and use a Vyroam eSIM, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian
  • Own a device that is eSIM-compatible and unlocked from any carrier
  • Have a valid email address and the ability to enter into a binding agreement

By placing an order, you confirm that you meet these requirements. It is your responsibility to verify that your device supports eSIM before purchasing.

3. Your Account

You may use Vyroam with or without creating an account. Creating an account unlocks additional features including the Vyroam Wallet (Travel Credit) and order history. Account registration and authentication is handled by Clerk and is available via email, Google, or Apple sign-in.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at support@vyroam.com if you suspect any unauthorised access.

Vyroam is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from:

  • Your failure to keep your account credentials secure
  • An inaccurate or inaccessible email address on your account
  • Issues caused by a carrier-locked or incompatible device
  • Deletion of the eSIM profile from your device before the plan has expired

4. Plans, Activation & Validity

Upon successful payment, your eSIM QR code will be delivered to your registered email address and will also be accessible in your Vyroam account under "My eSIM".

Please note the following before activating your plan:

  • Validity period — The plan validity period begins from the moment you first use data, not from the time of purchase. Unused plans do not expire indefinitely, but may be subject to plan-specific limitations as stated at checkout.
  • Data rollover — Unused data does not carry over after the plan has expired.
  • Single-use QR code — Each eSIM QR code is unique and can only be scanned once. Once scanned and installed, it cannot be re-issued. Do not share your QR code with others.
  • Do not delete your eSIM profile — Deleting the eSIM profile from your device before your plan expires will permanently deactivate the plan. We are unable to restore or reissue deleted eSIM profiles.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed on the Vyroam website are in the currency shown at the time of checkout and are inclusive of any applicable fees. The final price is presented clearly before you confirm your order.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe, a third-party payment provider. Vyroam does not store your card details. By completing a purchase, you authorise the charge to your chosen payment method.

In the event of a payment failure, your eSIM will not be delivered until payment is successfully completed. You may attempt the purchase again or contact us for assistance.

6. Cancellations, Refunds & Right of Withdrawal

Vyroam provides digital products (eSIM plans) that are delivered and made available immediately upon purchase. As a result, and in accordance with applicable consumer rights legislation, the right of withdrawal may not apply once an eSIM has been delivered or activated.

Notwithstanding the above:

  • If you experience a technical issue caused by a fault on our side that prevents you from using your eSIM, we will review your case and work to provide an appropriate resolution — which may include a replacement eSIM or a credit where applicable.
  • If an eSIM has not been activated and a delivery failure on our part can be confirmed, we will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis.
  • We are unable to provide refunds for issues caused by device incompatibility, carrier-locked handsets, deleted eSIM profiles, or user error.

7. Vyroam Wallet & Travel Credit

The Vyroam Wallet is a loyalty programme that rewards eligible purchases with Travel Credit, which can be applied toward future Vyroam orders.

The following conditions apply to the Vyroam Wallet and Travel Credit:

  • Travel Credit is earned only on eligible purchases made through a signed-in Vyroam account. Guest purchases do not qualify unless the guest subsequently creates an account using the same email address.
  • 10% of the eligible purchase value is added to your Vyroam Wallet automatically following successful order fulfilment.
  • Travel Credit has no monetary or cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • Travel Credit cannot be transferred between accounts or to another person.
  • Travel Credit can only be used toward eligible future purchases made on Vyroam.
  • Travel Credit may be reversed or deducted in the event of a refund, payment dispute, order cancellation, or confirmed misuse.
  • Any attempt to misuse the Wallet programme — including the creation of duplicate accounts, artificial orders, or other gaming of the system — may result in the forfeiture of accumulated Travel Credit and the suspension or termination of your account.
  • Vyroam reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Wallet programme at any time, with reasonable notice where required.

8. Network & Service Limitations

Vyroam provides eSIM connectivity through third-party eSIM provisioning providers and telecommunications infrastructure partners. The actual coverage, network speeds, and service availability in each destination are determined by local mobile network operators.

Vyroam does not guarantee:

  • Specific data speeds or network performance
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Coverage in all areas within a listed destination

We are not liable for service interruptions, coverage gaps, or quality degradation caused by third-party network infrastructure, local regulatory conditions, or factors outside our reasonable control.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Vyroam service in any way that is:

  • Unlawful or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Intended to resell, redistribute, or sublicense eSIM plans purchased from Vyroam
  • Using automated tools to access, scrape, or interact with the Vyroam platform without our authorisation
  • Designed to abuse the Vyroam Wallet programme or any other feature of the service

Vyroam reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the service for any user found to be in breach of these terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and technology on the Vyroam platform — including the Vyroam name, logo, and website — are owned by or licensed to Nordevia AS. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vyroam's total liability to you in connection with any order or use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

Vyroam is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or inability to connect while travelling, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.

Your continued use of the Vyroam service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Norwegian law. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Vyroam service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Norwegian courts.

If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the applicable consumer protection laws of your country of residence, which these Terms do not override.
